The Trump Administration may not have much regard for rule of law, but we do. “Executive Watch” gathers legal expertise on the Trump Administration’s memoranda, executive orders, proclamations, and other actions. We ask wether these actions are legally sound, have precedent in previous administrations, and are likely to survive judicial review. Though posts do not claim to be neutral, they rest on the kind of informed analysis that is woefully absent in mainstream news.

This site is edited by Feisal G. Mohamed, professor at The Graduate Center, CUNY. If you are a law professor, lawyer, legal journalist, or advanced law student with relevant expertise, your submissions are welcome. Posts should be 1000-2000 words; send via email as Word attachment.

Weekly roundups are written by Jessica Lugo, doctoral candidate in the English program at The Graduate Center, CUNY.
